Number 17 is an exciting par 5 which takes full advantage of nature's wonders.  Two creeks bisect this hole requiring two crossings (thus the name).  A long, straight drive or a power-fade off the tee could set up a "go" at the green, but only the strong and the bold should try, as it is all carry.  The second
fairway is very generous in size allowing a safe lay-up for the majority.  From there it is a short yet exciting approach over the creek to a green set on the high side in a natural bowl.  The "bail-out" is to the rear.  Strategic trees are most prevalent along this hole and may dash the hopes of many birdie seekers.

Pro's Tip:

For the big hitters this is a lay-up off the tee but if laid up correctly presents a good chance to get home in two, however, it is 250-260yds. and all carry.  For the more reasonable hitters, lay-up over the hazard to about 110 yds. and then attack the hole from here.  When laying up though, avoid going left into a hazard or too far right because several large trees will block you out.
